I’m the new owner of a pet. How do I transfer them to my details / account.
If you’re the new owner and the microchip is registered to someone else we will start the new owner process. This is what happens:
- The previous owner will receive an email to confirm they are no longer the owner. This allows them to confirm within the email.
- If they don’t respond within 3 days, they will receive a second email.
- If they don’t respond by day 6, they will receive a final email.
- At the end of the 7th day we will transfer the pet to you.
- We will keep you up to date with emails.
