This release focuses on making MyVet faster to use day-to-day, with major a major new product launch – Prescription Management, appointment workflows, and overall usability.
Prescription Management (Major New Release)
You can now manage prescriptions requests end-to-end, bringing a whole lot of time saving for the Veterinary team and a much nicer experience for customers. Your customers can now submit prescription request in your dedicated online portal and you can manage them through to the order being collected!
Pet owner prescription request form (via your practice portal)
Pet owners can submit repeat prescription requests through your practice portal, making it easier for you to collect the right info up front. Here’s an example portal: https://myvettest.mypethq.io/portal
Prescription requests dashboard for your team
MyVet users can now see all of the prescription requests in their MyVet Account. This makes it easy to see the status of each and every prescription request.
Review prescription requests with clearer details
Open a request to see the full customer and pet information provided, plus the submitted medication details. If you use our Inventory module, you can also add inventory directly to the order and print labels!
Update prescription status
Change a prescription’s status as it moves through your workflow (for example: approved, ready to collect, collected, denied, cancelled). This helps let you see what. step of the process any order is in!
Optional customer matching
Where possible, prescription requests can be matched to existing customer profiles to reduce manual admin. (Super useful if you use our CRM)
Prescription requested and Ready-to-collect email notifications
When a customer requests a prescption, we’ll send them an automated email! Then when you mark an order as ready to collect, you can send a confirmation email to the owner (with a confirmation step before sending).
Customisable “ready to collect” email template
Configure the subject and content used for these notifications so messaging stays consistent with your practice.
Inventory, pricing, and payments on prescriptions (where enabled)
Practices can enable a setting to assign inventory items to prescription requests, print labels, calculate totals, and record payments against prescription orders.
Portal configuration
A MyVet user can now configure their new MyVet customer facing portal, deciding on the logo and colour theme for the portal.
Appointment efficiency improvements
Packages (bundles) for services and inventory
Create and use appointment packages to speed up common workflows. Packages can be added during appointment creation and editing.
Packages can also be created in Setting with an easy way to spread revenue across the selected products.
Smoother “edit appointment” experience
Updates made while editing appointments can save automatically, with clear feedback that changes have been saved.
Improved appointment summary and mobile friendliness
The appointment summary has been refined to be clearer and easier to use, especially on smaller screens.
