This one’s a big one. Online booking, WhatsApp, a brand-new Teleos integration, and a whole stack of upgrades across VetScribe, forms, prescriptions and billing — here’s everything that just landed.
Online booking has landed
Your clients can now book their own appointments straight from the customer portal — no phone call, no back-and-forth. They pick an appointment type, choose a time that suits them, log in or pop in their details, select their pet, and confirm, and any confirmation message you’ve set up goes out automatically. Right now online booking is available through our Teleos integration, with MyVet’s own booking and other PMS integrations following soon. Fewer front-desk interruptions, happier owners, fuller days.

Appointment templates that do the heavy lifting
Set up each appointment type once and let it run. New appointment templates let you name the appointment, switch on online booking, and configure the notifications that go with it — confirmation emails, reminder emails, and now text-message confirmations and reminders too. Choose the timing (a day before, a few hours before, whatever works), edit the wording, preview it, and you’re done. Consistent, on-brand, and automatic.

Freshly branded appointment emails
The appointment confirmation and reminder emails have had a makeover to match the rest of your notifications — a clean branded header, tidy details, and editable wording with merge tags for the pet, appointment and practice. Tweak the subject and message, drop in variables, hit preview, and they look the part the moment they land in an owner’s inbox.

Say hello to the Teleos integration
MyVet now talks directly to Teleos. Connect your practice from the new Integrations settings and sync your customers, pets and appointments across both systems. You can map a MyVet clinician to the matching practitioner in your PMS, and anything created through MyVet is clearly flagged on the Teleos side — a star in front of new customer names and a ‘Booked via MyVet’ note on appointments. Best of all, with your records synced, Connect gets a whole lot smarter: every conversation now carries the full customer context, so your team can reply with everything they need right in front of them.

WhatsApp comes to Connect
You can now chat with pet owners over WhatsApp, right inside Connect. Link your account in a few clicks (no extra provider needed), and receive and reply to WhatsApp messages alongside your other conversations, with owners matched to their records automatically. One more place your clients already are, now in one tidy inbox.

VetScribe gets smarter
A big round of VetScribe polish. Pick which template to use when you start scribing from an appointment instead of always defaulting to SOAP, with templates now neatly organised into Sessions and categories. Quick transcription flows straight into the VetScribe UI rather than just the clipboard, you can start Scribe and notes right from the Create Appointment screen, and copying your notes is now a one-tap job from more places. Plus, VetScribe is always visible so everyone can see what it can do.

Forms grow up
Free text only gets you so far. You can now add single-select, multi-select and checkbox questions to your forms — easier for clients to fill in and far easier for you to action. And you can safely edit a form that’s already live: reorder it, tweak the wording, or hide questions that already have answers without losing any of the responses people have sent in.

Roles, users and clinicians, joined up
More control over who can do what. Create and manage custom roles with their own permissions so reception, nurses and vets each see exactly what they should. And you can now link a user to a clinician — or create one from their details, complete with RCVS number — so prescriptions and appointments always carry the right vet’s name rather than whoever happens to be logged in.

One tidy home for prescription emails
Managing the emails owners get at each prescription stage is now a single, clear editor. Edit the wording for Approved, Ready to Collect, Collected, Denied and Cancelled in one place, drop in merge variables, preview the result, and toggle each one on or off. Getting the wording right and keeping it on-brand just got a lot quicker.

Smarter, tidier invoicing
A few upgrades that keep your billing clean. Every appointment and prescription is now treated as a proper invoice with its own number, invoices are served from your own portal page where you have one, and invoice links now expire after 14 days — if a client clicks an old one, they can simply pop in their email to be re-sent the latest copy.
Sign out of the portal
Pet owners can now sign out of the customer portal from a new account menu. Handy on a shared, family or public device — signing out ends the session, clears any pre-filled details, and asks for a fresh login next time. Sessions also time out on their own after a spell of inactivity.
Small bugs and enhancements
- Tidied up the prescriptions date format so it reads cleanly as DD MMM YYYY (for example, 26 Jun 2026).
- Added a Net (ex VAT) column to the prescription invoice view so it matches the PDF.
- Added quick links from insurance claims straight to the underlying appointment or prescription, so you can jump to the detail in one click.
- Added a clearer back button on embedded forms so it’s easier to find your way back.
- Fixed a Teleos syncing quirk where a pet’s date of birth could come through as the wrong date.
- Sorted out a Connect hiccup where a new Facebook Messenger message wouldn’t show the reply option until you refreshed the screen.
- Fixed a Connect bug where switching a conversation from Messenger to SMS opened a brand-new ticket instead of staying put.
- Fixed pet creation so insurance details and the policy document can be saved together in one go.
- Fixed a Connect pop-over bug where updating a mobile number didn’t save or confirm.
- Removed an old prescription-notes option from VetScribe that no longer worked with the current screen.
