Our ethics statement

MyPet was founded and grew out of a desire to build a better and new kind of pet microchip database. For us, good business and good ethics go hand in hand. We believe that a business has a responsibility to our environment and our society and they should strive to deliver social good. We keep in mind these 5 things when building our business:

  • Our key purpose is protecting pets and helping get lost pets home.
  • We should always aim to deliver value to our customers ensuring our products and services are fair and don't "rip off" our customers.
  • Our customers privacy is important to us. Only the right people should have access to our customers details.
  • Our technology should make it easier and more affordable for pet owners. It should be technology for good. (with an uptime of 99.9%).
  • We are committed to the pursuit of ecological sustainability and to combating climate change.
